A few years ago I enlisted Nicola's help in a brand strategy project. It was a rebrand and uplevelling project. Once the first stage of strategic brand thinking was done, along with the colour palette and creative brief, Nicola got to work on creating options for the new brand identity and marketing collateral. She is a joy to work with, exchange ideas with, talk typography and colours etc. Best of all the logo has lasted through the subsequent brand evolution. I love a logo with lasting power. Nicola is a long standing creative advisor for a number of projects where digital assets are required for marketing collatoral. In March, Freedom Hotspot exhibited at the HRC Show at ExCel London which is a hospitality trade show. In addition to her long term project based role of creating stand graphics, Nicola captured the event on video for post show content to highlight how we hotels and other hospitality clients enhance engagement using Guest WiFi. All aspects of the video, filming, editing and delivering a final product were done a great standard including some of the excitement that are trade shows whilst giving valuable info at the right tone. Nicola remains a valuable resource for Freedom Hotspot's creative needs as a long term partner.

I have worked with Nicola using both her videography and design skills, as well as her sharing some advice on my program development. We contacted Nicola in panic ,on recommendation, with less than 24hours to go to film a family function. I am pleased to say that Nicola was available. The practical hands-on session in the afternoon has given me the confidence to use Canva myself for my own marketing materials. As part of a product branding and marketing project, Nicola created the designs for the product packaging covers and website header banner. She also produced high quality product images that were used throughout the website. She translated briefs that were drawn up during our meetings innovatively, and generated ideas to resolve technological and visual design issues, ensuring that the end result was beyond expectation. I attended Nicola's "Mastering Marketing Materials" workshop at Charlotte's W5 yesterday. It was such a good course and I learned more about how colours should work for your brand. I particularly enjoyed the Canva training and was thrilled with the flyer I managed to produce myself by the end of the day. Nicola has a really no nonsense, plain English way of explaining things. I came away having learnt tools and tricks in Canva that I'd have missed in another 5 years of using the package probably had I not gone on the course. Nicola has a great eye for design and detail and I would highly recommend Iconic Creative either for training or design work.

' A consultative approach to design.' Nicola had initially contacted me with a flyer design offer. A flyer was something that I had in mind for several months but hadn't got round to having created. Nicola's approach to design was very consultative with ideas and advice on what to do (and not to do!) and also branding tips, ideas of colour palates and more. I'm delighted and am proud of the flyer that Nicola created for The Events Hub and use it as an intro piece - both in print and PDF. The next stage is to develop branding guidelines which I'm really looking forward to working with Nicola on!.

When I established my business I drafted a logo very quickly and cheaply which served me in the early stages of my business. As my business began to grow I needed a new professional looking logo and approached Nicola to help. I had a few ideas but as a non design orientated person had difficulty visualising exactly what I wanted. Nicola asked lots of questions about target market, colours, style details and my likes/dislikes. From this she produced a pdf of 20 sample logos in a range of styles/shapes to look through. Through several iterations of this process we arrived at the final logo - clean, simple, straightforward and professional looking. Throughout this process Nicola showed great skill at interpreting what I needed, from a brief that was a little woolly, often without direction from me. Nicola was knowledgeable on all aspects of design and provided input on how the logo design would be impacted on business cards, flyers and my website. These were things I hadn't considered. Nicola was a joy to work with and made the design process easy, pain free and I am happy to recommend her to anyone looking for design services.

'I was absolutely delighted with the photos that Nicola took of my baby daughter and myself. I had been looking for a suitable photographer to take some 'baby' photos and Nicola fits the bill. She was able to put us at ease and capture some beautiful moments with my daughter, no mean feat with a crawling baby! When it comes to talent, Nicola is at the top of the pile,professional and sympathetic to her clients needs. Having recently found several old and tired wartime photographs of my grandfather I was equally please and saddened . Please I had chanced upon them, because they had been hidden from public view for almost 60 years and sad because time had not been kind to them at all. However, this was about to change, I sent them onto Nicola and within days she had sent back photographs that looked as fresh as the day they were taken. The clarity was amazing and the finished photographs were of a quality the one could only of dream about. Nicola brought my grandfather as a young soldier back to life and I will be forever indebted to her and would not hesitate in using her again or recommending her.
